I am a huge fan of music, like Iron & Wine, which plays 3/4 of the time in my room. I also like Mumford & Sons and Staind. The thing about Iron & Wine that I love is that Sam Beam's music has been with me through the best and worst parts of my life. It has defined who I've come to be. It helped bring my girlfriend through her attempted suicide. His music is so intrinsic to my life and maturity that I honestly don't know where I would be without it. The first song I heard was the Trapeze Swinger, and I immediately fell in love with the creativity and real value of Sam Beam's lyrics. From then on I knew I would never settle for the repetitive and meaningless mainstream on the radio today. A huge dream in my life is to be able to play guitar with Sam Beam, but I would probably faint haha. Thanks for reading my lengthy bio!
